Neil Hudgell and Rob Crossland have decided this will be their last season bankrolling the Robins states the HDM.

In the HDM exclusive, the pair have told associates they now feel they have taken HKR as far as they can and don't want to oversee a period of decline. Mondays record defeat seems to have been the deciding factor, as it is viewed in the boardroom as a clear example of the growing distance between HKR and S/L best resourced clubs. Delays in the North stand build, dropping season pass sales and declining attendances have also played there part.

They have given the RFL assurances that they will see out this season.

Instead of spending £100k under the cap, spend £500k under the cap and stop paying fees for players, there's no P&R - books balanced. Suggesting the stand delay has "cost Rovers up to £1m" just doesn't ring true. Sounds like they're begging for council money to compensate for lack of their own budgetary prudence. Spend less, cockles, and break even.
