Agreed, must win for both, for very different reasons.

It's not a must win for us really is it? It's a "would be nice" to win

Must win as regards to making playoffs , which in the position we are in would be disappointing to miss out, but your right jemmo, been a great season anyway, better than i certainly expected.

Must win if we want to finish 6th , get a home tie & get 4k from the RL.

That'd al be nice, but I wouldn't let it define the season!

With Sanderson , Edwards , Spiers , Hughes & Leaf hopefully available does Tony may changes bearing in mind we have 2 matches in 5 days.

Cannot see Wakefield letting us have Trout or Kay on Wednesday, but you never know.

If we beat York, we'll definitely finish 6th providing either Dewsbury or Workington don't win their last match. Dewsbury play at Leigh, and Workington play at Halifax. Those two games look tough for Dewsbury and Workington. It's probably fair to say a win against York will be good enough for 6th spot.



If either of Dewbury and Workington do win, a bonus point for us against Sheffield will definitely see us 6th unless Dewsbury or Workington score loads of points in their last match victories, as we have a far better points difference.



A win for us against York guarantees us a play-off place of some sorts. A bonus point against York almost certainly guarantees a play off place, even if we got nothing from the Sheffield game.



Whichever way we look at it, our fate is still in our own hands.

It would be nice to finish sixth with Dewsbury 7th, so we can get our own back on them to some degree.

Team selection could be interesting gven the running on fumes comment, York have to go for it and some more, could be a cracker and an enjoyable game to watch.. Looking forward to as I cannot make the Eagles game. As for the season as a whole very pleased and would love us to finish as the top side of all those promoted. Plays offs at 6 would be excellent and a very fitting normal season end for Tony Miller.

We may well see Simon Brown, Broughton & Freer playing against us .
