| The title says it all for me.
Our forwards work hard but don't seem to break the line. We really miss Moa and Manu and they have not been replaced, I've said it all off season and I was right.
What's happened to the brilliant offload Watts had last year?
Pitts was better last year than this.
Jamie Shaul looked very dangerous every time he got the ball.
Another good performance from Horne today. Ill hold my hand up, I thought he'd had his day.
Cunningham is a very good attacking Hooker, where as Houghton is better in defence.

| Any team would miss the likes of Manu and Moa.
We signed Ellis so the loss of Manu would have been off set by this. It's just unfortunate that he has yet to be available. That being said, Manu has not yet stood out for St's due to either average form or injury. Nothing to say he would stayed injury free if he had been at Hull.
It would have been wrong to stop Moa going to the NRL, not that we were in a position to stop him.
As a master of genuine interest, who would you like Hull to sign in the front row?

I'd like Mickey Paea, but he's committed to Rovers unfortunately.

Are you Marqan Koukash? About as possible a target as his.

| To be honest i think Josh Bowden is improving each week. I've said it before and will again in the future. He's going to be our answer to Sam Moa. Bowden runs hard tackles well.
Manu is being played in the wrong position at Saints. He's been played as a loose man instead of a Second Row.

For whatever reason we decided to play a predominently forward biased game, straight up the middle little or no offloads and lack of support any way which suited the Crusaders as it was easier for them.
The times we did spread it wide we scored as we stretched them and had too much pace and power.
Apart from the odd wrong option Shaul had a good game and showed his pace.
Cunningham was ok did the basics but a little wayward with his passing.
Don't think Moa and Manu would have made a lot of difference today due to our style of play and probably relaxed attitude to the game.

Cunningham started the 2nd half like a house on fire, he did OK overall. Our lack of passing fluency was painful at times today, though.

Not debating that, but he'll never leave France. Might as well have answered the question with Paul Gallen.

Our passing accuracy and speed was painful and boring to watch today and we coughed up too much easy ball.
I'm glad we didn't play anyone of note otherwise I don't think we'd be in the next round, unless of course this was Gentle's masterplan and style of play for today.

| Possibly with the young front row it was a case of up the jumper and run. Tire the opposition and score down the flanks.
Agree it was boring to watch but tbh everyone expected an easy victory and we were bound not to play as well as i reckon even the players thought it would be easy. (No disrespect to crusaders, they played for the full 80 even though the game was lost).
Anyone see their scrum half though, showed some good pace and good passing Lol??
