| Was wondering the same thing. We can't have reached 10,000 or we'd have known about it. 9,000 in the current climate would be a good effort though.

Rubbish, people said that last year.
Any fall in numbers on last year is a disaster

| No idea.
I haven't gotten one this season as the switch to Sundays conflicts with other commitments that I, and the people I go with, already had and so it wasn't worth the money.
Instead I'm just gonna be buying the tickets on the day of the games that I can make. Hopefully we get on a roll and are on Sky a lot so that the days keep getting switched.

| To be honest it is rare for the club to announce the final figure.
I reckon we have done similar to last year about 9K, disappointed not to have grown the numbers given the 'new era' but you have to consider that unemployment is at its highest for decades and for many a Rugby pass is a luxury that they can't afford.
I also think after a few years of 'next year will be better' some fans require some actual good, consistent performances on the field before they buy a pass again.

| Could the voucher exchange issue be one reason, if there is a drop or no increase of pass sales?

| All speculation but I reckon Isaiah has a point.
I hesitated up to the end of discount period as I normally miss 3 games due to holidays but decided to buy a pass as a form of commitment to the club.
Anyway if the performances improve on the past few seasons the walk up gate should be considerably higher despite the prevailing economic climate.

| We've had several years of "New Dawn" PR followed by "Same Old Let-Down" on the pitch. We've proven that success on the pitch is rewarded with big crowds as we saw in 2006 and that latent support is there. Up to the coaching team and players to deliver, if they do, the crowds will follow.

Oh dear. So you would prefer to turn down £80,000+ a game in revenue than have an element of the fanbase that are floating voters? Jesus. Oh wait, it's your first post. Worst Rovers troll of the day.
