After watching the latest installment on Hull FC TV gotta say the Mark, Hame and Longy are looking very mean at the beginning of the vid, lol.

But back to the point of the post, is it me or does Longys eye look a whole lot better compared to previous interviews recently.

Anyway here's hoping his eye is well on the road to recovery and that his vision is as sharp as it ever was playing for saints!

think he was having / has had a minor op to help it

It does look much better in that video although it was recorded indoors of course. It's looked bad when Longy has been photograped or filmed outdoors in bright light when the other eye closes more.



I'm sure he is fine though, he came back well at the end of the season for Saints and Hull's medical staff will be assessing him.

I thought it looked alot better aswell , the start of that vid is awesome aswell

there's pictures of them training on the hull daily mail website in daylight and he hasn't got shades on. I presumed that meant he was a lot better

Thought the same watching it hopefully things returning to normal for him.

Was chatting to Longy this morning asked him the same question Re - His Eye, He told me he's getting some special sport glasses to wear during game.. Here we go......................

Edgar Davids played football in glasses for years

There were penalties given in SL last year for hair pulling. Do we think the likes of Mathers/Bailey/Cockayne would be able to resist leaving his eyeware alone?

How can they wear glasses in a game of RL? Football i can see but in rl there is a lot more contact and glasses would be off quickly.



Unless they are going to be contacts of some sort?

Contacts would be pointless. The problem wasn't his eyesight (IIRC Davids has glaucoma), it was/is Long's ability to close his eye.

But how would glasses help? I thought the problem was that his eye dries out due to not getting the fuild it needs. Are they going to put an eye washer on the inside of the lens
