| I went last night and thought both teams were poor, Hull had no go forward with Ese Ese and Knight on but seem to come alive with Ashworth and Eseh on but they second pairing only seemed to play limited minutes together. Second row an obvious problem. I'd have Ashworth and Fash second row next game, put Hardaker back to centre in place of Litten who just isn't good enough yet. A few games in and I'm still not seeing what Pryce brings to the side and I feel like we're carrying him hoping he's gonna come good but ut isn't happening at, no coincidence that we've lost, shape, energy, defensive strength since Litten and Pryce started playing?
Lots of things need to improve quickly though but I don't seen it happening. I saw a bottom four side out there last night, I know thats where most had us finishing, Cartwright took the plaudits in the first few games and now needs to accept some critisim in that we don't look like we've worked on anything since the Huddersfield loss, same slow defence, same stupid mistakes.
Utterly disappointed but also a massive reality check, we're not top six material and will lose again more times this season than we win

| I honestly think we were poor on Friday apart from when ashworth and eseh was on together. We struggled to get up field but Leeds just marched down the full length on nearly every set. We lacked cohesion lots of players looking tired, Asiata has lost some speed, not a fan of Bourouh either, were not very exciting with him at hooker, Balmforth has to get a chance next game, I'd go as far as starting him with Bourouh on the bench. For all the improvements we made at the start of the season I think we've levelled off now into a poor to average side and I'm not sure anything other than a change in personnel can change that

| Think quite harsh that, Leeds are a decent team do agree that need to see more borough in attack but question is why is Balmforth not fancied again, thought Asiata in defence was great and when we had about 3 sets on their line we missed him he was off for Fash at the time

| Disappointed as always to lose, one we should've won, all we had to do was defend the set from the scrum but that Handley carry killed us. But in reality we should've been out of site by then anyway, the Ashworth offload and the 3 or 4 repeat sets we had in Leeds 20 in the second half kept us in touchingdistance.
Do think the spine needs some tweaking. I'd bring Moy in at 1, Pryce to 6 and move Cust to 14.
I wouldn't be renewing Ashworth either, especially if we get quota exemptions around Bell and Sao. Didn't think he was great even without the offload.
Just on the season as a whole, we're starting to see us drop down the league to a more realistic position. Most had us down 8/9th before a ball was kicked. We seem to be a team who is trying but we're low on quality and game breakers, which is hurting us. Effort will only get us so far

| Ashworth definitely cost us in the first half. But to be fair to the kid was instrumental in getting the Leeds player pushed back and tackled in goal straight after HF which lead to our try ... At 16/4 up we can't put all the blame on him. I'd get him signed up ...Big lad runs his weight and always gives is all.....Sport is fine margins . We make that last tackle and we be all celebrating a good win. Definitely not having any Second rowers is hurting us as we have no running threat out wide ... . Maybe worth trying Ashworth there again ?

I just don't see it with Ashworth tbh. I might be on my own but I'd let him go. As frustrating as Friday was, I'm not down in the dumps yet. We've got some favourable fixtures coming up over the next 2 months
