With a sore head and a sore throat. Couldn't really understand it so I checked NHS website. It said there was a highly contagious bug going round with the source being the Belle Vue part of Wakefield. It causes temporary hallucinations lasting about 90 minutes followed by a feeling of unreality. Medication recommended includes high dosages of alcohol for at least 12 hours. The after effects include euphoria lasting for an unpredictable length of time.



Anyone else caught this bug?

My heart rate was racing for a while too.



I'm over it now but the visions are so real. It's like I was really there.

I've had the same symptoms for over a fortnight but, it's getting worse !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took copious amounts of alcohol which helped with the throat but the headache is back this morning. Think it must be contagious as it seems around 5000 who wer in the Belle Vue area have reported similar symptoms

It seems to be contagious too - I got home from the source of the infection, and my 17 yr old son who is a lapsed supporter announced that him, and his 'squad' (for that is how he speaks, to my shame) are coming back to support Wakey, starting next week.

Think I was dreaming about the day I was born, way back in 62

Had a shocking nightmare, I woke up thinking I had seen 62 points put passed Wiggin but thought it was the 6 pints of Black Sheep.

Am on Costa medication now and hear the infection could last another 2 weeks at least.

I am so old, I can remember a dream where Bradford Northern conceded 75 points. It seems to be a serious illness as I have received texts from many friends asking of my health. Wish I could do am emoji!

May be contagious but the symptoms aren't identical. In my case the visit brought on clinical depression which no amount of alcohol can shift. Just have to wait it out I suppose!

I dreamt last night that we beat wigan 62-8 for some reason, then woke up and sighed in relief realising we did actually nil them

Two youngest went off to school thought something is wrong its quiet mind the oldest aint said much today but mumbled something about dreaming of a big score against Wigan I didn't know so many people could have the same dream on the same date
