I heard that the merger papers had not come through so none of the Cathedral players were eligible.

Its a shame to stop children from playing.

not yet but good on yer for like you say taking up the mantle,



for some years now theres been a few on here trying to promote the junior game and I hope we have laid the foundations for it to continue for more years as long as adults realise what this is trying to achieve and that's it's for the kids.



when I first came on here the lad was playing under 9s and was sweet and innocent and can remember his first game, as the years pass bye it gets more competitive.



If I had any advice to pass on it would to make sure they enjoy the game come what may because as sooner that fades then it can end up being one hell of a grind.

Not in the 13s Sir , I do know that say 14s n 12s going by them year year groups you may be o.k, but then again thr drigg team we used to come up against at one point the team to beat in the YJL goups but they fell behind because they were all a year younger, that is now the 14s but they mostly play at their age the under 13s.



with that homdwork I expect a long drawn out day for you.

cas academy high 40 kettlethorpe 16 year 9



a game of 2 halfs as they say although kettlethorpe struggled yo put up a team which is not very good for the first division.



However the cas team had the game won in the girdt 5 minutes but in the 2nf hslf a vouple of the Kettlethorpe plsy makers took advantage of cas taking the foot of the gas.

I agree it was a game of two halfs with cas leading 40-0 at ht,that said 1 or 2 ketty lads showed a bit of character that with 4 of cas starting 13 turning out for ketty in the second half and 1 or 2 more taking a break to try and make a game of it.it did neither side any good imo but thankfully it gets a bit more competative once the yorks cup starts.!

One of Ketty trys was by Cas a lad who scored 2 for Cas and 1 for kett which must be first in any sport

Hutchie I have seen you play and also seen Drig Play several times this season, On balance if you perform as you can you will win.



But as you will prob agree if Wyke don,t (Turn up) you may well get turned over.



The stand off is key for them very quick on his feet, tie him up and you should be ok!



Cas academy yr8 beat Outwood 38 - 20 last night after beating Kettlethorpe comfortably last week.



They now face a division decider at St Wilfs I believe on Monday in what will be a tasty affair with Cas after revenge for their Cas Cup Defeat.
