Why do our supporters always try to find negative facts around the club, blindly not taking notice to the good that The Club, AG and JE are doing. Also supporters who say they will not attend if we go into admin (even though I'm confident we won't). Basically what they'll be doing is turning they're back on the club when they most need our help! Can we stop the doom and gloom forums as they do not bring anything other than tedious debate. We know we aren't the most affluent club but Glover is doing his best! Concentrate on the good times ahead, I'm sure they will be many!

All aspects need debating, not just the good. If it weren't for the recent 'negative' threads we'd never have got the excellent update from AG and the two winding up petitions would've come ss a major suprise.

Yes, but then again, Glover would have sorted it without any pressure from the supporters as it seemed to be a reaction to negativity to forums like this one

Why? Because there's a vocal minority who are only happy if there's molehills that they can make mountains out of!



While it is understandable to think of it as "our" club, it is AG's business and we have to accept that this means there is very little we can do other than SUPPORT THE TEAM by buying tickets & merchandise.



Yes, the update from AG was a positive step in light of all the doom-mongering, but if it wasn't for an almost obsessive need of some people to know every little aspect of the business it wouldn't have been necessary for AG to make such public comment about what is a PRIVATE company.



IMHO those people who want to have such a close grip on the direction of the business should put their best offer to AG to purchase his shares (and repay the loans from him/WYW) or just stay





"Together We Are Stronger" may be getting a little clichéd, but we certainly won't be weaker without the doom-mongers.

I don't think the blame is with the supporters, they just want a club to support. If the club didn't get into these situations then there wouldn't be the doom-mongers!

Tomorrow we will be playing our big city rivals, in what hopefully will be a fantastic game, in front of a packed crowd at Belle Vue. If AG had not put his money where his mouth is and bought the club, we could have possibly been looking at a local derby against Batley or Dewsbury. We are playing Super League rugby, have just re signed our talisman Captain until 2016. Think some fans need to give their heads a shake and think where we are to where we could have been.

This is true, however the fans are the clubs biggest customers, and are entitled to opinion.



The club do waste money sometimes though, which could be spent better elsewhere, such as when we have had entertainers from programmes such as Britains Got talent playing well before kick off to empty stadiums.



I heard somewhere that these people charge 2-3k just for a short slot like that



Even warm weather camps cost a lot, and some of the more successful clubs of late have knocked this on the head and done survival camps in the hills

Doesn't every club waste a bit of money trying to increase interest in matchday. We seem to be better than some others at frittering money away. All depends what market you are looking to attract, if it's girls, Britains Got Talent may get them in, but for me junior rugby teams playing at half time or just before kick off are more entertainment and it's a way of creating stronger bonds with amateur clubs. What 9,11 or 13 year old rugby player wouldn't jump at the chance of playing at Belle Vue. Maybe i'm a bit old fashioned?

Supporters have a right to question what goes on at the club. It shows their desire that they want the club to be the best it can be. It also keeps the club on its toes.

It will be interesting to see the number of posters who comment on the positive thread regarding Kirmond in comparison to the negative one about pre-pack. Noticed someone actually bumped the pre pack thread with a casual mention about Kirmond!

There is a difference between asking questions of the club and just moaning, the club is coming out of a dark period and for AG to post a statement , as he did about the clubs finances and what they are looking to do about it takes some front. AG is trying to be as transparent as he can about the main things that the fans are concerned about, but people will always find something else to pick up on.

Its quite simple, only post on positve or negative threads depending on you're views.



No ones broken any rules and the posters who want everything they don't like locked, well maybe forums are not the right place for them.
