Not enough game time for a fair few of the forwards in pre season. It will take us 3-4 weeks of the first team playing together for us to start playing as we know we can. Timing is out, game fitness not there and due to injuries, strength could be a concern. Time will right all that even if its not what people want to hear. I expected more fight today though

Thats optimistic,the squad have been in training since November,weve only added a couple of players to last seasons squad,so i really dont get why it will take another 3/4 weeks.

Defense was garbage most of last year and i see no reason why it wont be garbage again this year.

Not all the team have been training though. Lots have had operations and not doing a full pre season. Most pre season games we've been with only 1 recognised prop due to this. Plus kirmond and mariano been out and not playing together in pre season and its no surprise we looked disjointed. Keep the faith. If we learnt anything from last season it's not to start going over the top when we lose. Disappointing, certainly. Slit your wrist time, certainly not.

when people come on here and try and make exuses for a performance like that igive up ,timing is out game fitness not there whos fault is that i went to saints we were hammered i said wel trounce donny and every thing would be fineand people beleive that , stop wiping bums some of these players arnt good enough trouble is when folk criticise them they get shotdown . Time some on here face up to the fact that tim smith and andy realeigh aint gonna make every thing right

No I'll think you'll find that people get shot down when they start relentlessly bagging individual players. Mathers for instance was arguably our MOTM along with Aiton.



We were rudderless in attack without Timmy but the defence was awful. Poore was well, poor. The whole pack was steamrolled from start to finish, I was surprised as I think our pack has the potential to be top drawer.
