You don't have to win trophies to make your mark in Super League.
If you cannot see the contributions made by Alker (Another Wigan lad) then you know nowt about Rugby League. The game's top tackler over the last decade, it's not all about one metre flop over tries you know:

I can only think of a couple of players who I would actually class as heroes, Lam, Barrett, Sinfield, Dobson, Stacey Jones, Cunningham (although I hate him, you can only admire him as well), Peacock, Senior (just for lasting so long at the top), Fielden.
But the biggest hero of all ANDY FARRELL!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say that the Salford fans certainly consider Alker to be a hero for their club, which is what this thread is about. This is not just for what he has done playing wise but also the fact that he always stayed loyal to them even when relegated.
