| Carvell and Morley seem to be the talking points but I've never seen a team play acting so much as Warrington. It started with Mathers who got a penalty for throwing himself on the ground after he was tackled and there were numerous, yes numerous occassions, when other Warrington players did the same but to no avail. I think players should be penalised for play acting. It was embarrassing.

| I noticed it too TBH. A rule should be brough in to stop it IMO, this aint football.
Also how pathetic was that penalty on a cas player (think it might have been Hudson) for just nudging atkins away from the tackle so the other cas player could play the ball quick?
2 bad performances from refs this weekend, its bringing the sport down, how can we move on as a sport when the refs are abysmal? Sure i understand they cant ALWAYS be right, but some decisions this weekend have been just unbelieveable.

| TBF Briers has a bit of history in that department, remember when KFC pushed him & he went down holding his face as if he was hit with a sledge hammer.

we are in an age were people don't take responsibility for their actions, i find it difficult to see where you are coming from.
KFC pushed him - this is a foul - regardless of Briers reaction KFC is in the wrong.

| same goes for stealing the ball in the tackle as the one on prescott last night
it happened later in the half as well and the wigan players took out their retribution with some hard but fair tackling.

All teams do it.
Didn't Gleeson do it last night. Or did you miss that.

But they are play acting when they are actually being fouled. The reason they are trying to emphasise this is because the referees are so inept and if they don't 'play act' they get nothing.

| Most teams do it to be fair. Sometimes though, it is completely over exaggerated and unnecessary, such as flopping on the floor pretending they've been tripped when attempting to play the ball, when nobody has touched them.
I remember a couple of seasons ago, it happened on a few occasions with different teams. An attacking player would hold on to the tackler, or trap their arm into theirs so they couldn't get away, conning the ref into thinking that the defender was interfering with the PTB, thus awarding the attacking side the penalty.

| The more silly rules that they bring out, and the faster they try to make the play the ball the more players are going to play act and force silly penalties. Which slows the game down, not speed it up. The RFL are to blame as they're forcing players to either give penalties or look for them when the game isn't going for them.
