What was the rough attendance at the Hull game?

The figure announced was just over 3,000, but under 3,100.

3052. But was that really the gate for yesterday???? Seemed a lot more to moi. East Stand almost full and a good few hundred in the north stand.

In previous years, they'd have called that 4,200.



I think this year we're announcing more accurate figures.

Be interesting to see how many were casual fans that showed up with the offer of cheap admission with tickets to the RU match later.

Judging by the pics posted of the North Stand...less than 100 in there.....3052 is the lowest gate for an FC game since 2000.....



Current average after 3 games is 2,480...down 27% on last years totals and 18% on like for like attendances in 2010. By the time the unlucky club finds out that they are being removed from SL in July we could be sitting on an average gate of well under 3k......I am sure that it won't go un-noticed by the flatearth society





Let's hope that Century 21 get the ball rollling soon...Castleford (FRIDAY) (3,537), Catalans (FRIDAY)(2,864) and Salford (SATURDAY)(2,639) are the next 3 up at home....hardly big draw card games with 2 on Fridays....I suspect attracting 2,500 each and Salford maybe the same as it's on TV.....

The only pics I've seen of the North Stand only have about 100 seats visible in the frame! I remember counting about 80 in there when we played Crusaders; there must have been at least 500 yesterday. (Or 498 after the two blokes wearing "Agar Out" T-shirts hasd been ejected from the ground by stewards.) The East Stand was fairly well populated, even near the ends. If we had 3,600+ for last year's Melbourne game (when only the East Stand was open) it's hard to see how there were 600 fewer yesterday. Either way it's not enough, but the official figure struck me as a bit skinny.

Yeah but crowds aren't down. Like I say, Sunday's 3052 would have been called 4200 in previous years.

Can't we just called it 6000 then and keep the flat-earthers off our back?

Anyone out in the bars in Twickenham before KO? Did you see any marketing push by Quins to get casual fans into the ground with flyers etc??

There were a couple of women wearing the away kit giving out flyers at the station. They seemed to be garnering some interest when I went past. To be honest I doubt they were doing much more immediately before the games as it is really too late by then. If you are arriving in time to get to us for 2.00 but planning on going to the union it implies you already have a plan - meet friends etc.
