Was never very clear why he left us, but was he not too busy with the day job...?

Well that is a little odd, although I would say I'm sure his new position surely doesn't command anywhere near as much time as being our chairman?

Sponsored their game at the weekend and his company announced as Salford sponsors a few weeks ago - Koucash ???

I can see another announcement being announced.

Anyone who thinks he left Leigh to spend more time on his business is living in cloud cuckoo land. He could have taken a lesser role at Leigh and it wouldn't have ended as it did. I don't know what happened and I'm not bothered what happened as long as it doesn't derail our SL progress. And so far it doesn't seem to have done.

I was personally sad to see John go. The new appointment seems to be at odds to the party line given for his departure.

Oh no, Swinton were on the verge of greatness - now with John there'll be no stopping them.



More seriously, I suspect Koukash has poached him. He's shown interest in enough of our staff and players, suppose he had turn turn a head sometime.

Well pleased he has poached roddy and not brierley. Very odd, but like has been said the future of OUR club is more important than who is chairman. We all have to be united in our ambitions for the club, if roddy could not or would not work with our board, then we are better off with him out the place

Agreed, he's a good bloke but if he wasn't onside with the rest of the setup then it's the sensible thing for all parties that he stepped away.



What really happened? Can't say I care for the reasons unless they are to manifest themselves as an issue that stops the club growing.

Failed to put any cash in at Leigh and deliver anything of any note at Leigh from what I'm led to believe so found his level now by looks of things.



Championship one beacons and a life of feeder club status.



Got a bit of kudos from his 12 months as a figurehead for our board of local lads investing and running the club but the key players are all still present at Leigh so good luck to him.

Thought JR had something to do with the setting up and development of LCTV and social media?



It seems such a shame that we have to discredit someone who was a key part of the club, both in the difficult times and in the new era.
