They are not all like that imo.

Frank I agree with Lynda , not many Fev fans will travel for this , I think the gate will be affected , still it will show we need Sunday rugby .

M62 / M60 Friday night in either direction will put folk off going to a match IMO



Sunday is Rugby League day - keep it that way

I certainly hope so as otherwise I would have faced a tough decision, miss my first wire cup game for a few years or miss what would be a much better game. We play big games in SL on a Friday night all the time and it has no real effect on attendances or away followings that I have noticed.

Gans , most of our opponents are Yorkshire based and travelling over the Pennines in Works traffic is not appealing to most , it may be different in SL ,then you have your Lancs based Games , a lot of Wire home games are on Friday evenings , its just a good thing for you personally its on Friday for this game , I think we have a few SL fringe fans who come to Leigh games , that wouldn't come on a Friday .My preference is Sunday , but we are all entitled to have our say .

Well we will find out when we pay hem in the league on a Sunday and compare .

We've not had office confirmation yet so fingers crossed it wrong .

Better Corporate on a Friday apparantly

It is down to what people are used to I suppose but for me public transport is a lot better on a Friday than a Sunday.



I know that is a selfish point of view but having said that I know I would travel over to Fev on a Friday if we were playing there and we have always took a reasonable following for our Thursday night games there in the past.



I know their away following will be affected but it is a split gate so that is no big deal imo.



Anyways the lad on the Swinton forum knows no more than me on when the game will be played but whatever I will attend on whichever date it is to be played.

Col I admit I do like that side of the Experience , I just prefer Sundays its nice to meet friends for a chat , being tee-total the drinking doesn't bother me .Is the food better on Fridays ?I cant eat anything Spicy .
