Been on the cards for ages - Wright was in the national papers a couple of months ago saying he couldn't keep doing the commute from his gym job at Canary Wharf in London however many times a week for training & matches. Think he even missed a game because of a train delay one week as well. Was never going to work as a long term option but to be honest I'm surprised he's stuck it out as long as he has.

I was amazed when I found out he had to commute from his job in London. Crazy. Makes me wonder why he was taken on in the first place?

Earns a wedge as a personal trainer so presumably wouldn't be paid a huge wage by Des? There again, I've seen elsewhere that Des has cited "financial reasons" for Wright's departure so Clark must be working for a pint of mild and a bag of pork scratchings?! |

He missed the Widnes game (@ Stobart) the other Thursday night as he was stuck in traffic driving up to meet the team at the ground... Ironically though he was at Widnes vs Sheffield last week! |
