following heavy overnight snow todays game has been abandoned . 3 inch of snow on top of the covers . referee called in to inspect mr leahy from batley rung the club at 9.35 to say that he was snowed in in batley and could not even drive to dewsburys ground to perform the formalities . with the situation hopeless the game was abandoned .
