I just wondered if anyone might be interested in lift sharing to the away matches next season? I drive up myself at the minute and wondered if anyone might want to split the journeys and petrol cost, or whether there might be a space in a car that I could fill?



I go to pretty much every game, with the odd exception for holidays.

I've got a lot of sympathy for all of us who travel a long way on our own for matches - home or away.

Nowadays if if's on Sky I go to the pub and watch it - unless it's special game eg semi / final / GF.

Cost £60 min for each match without beer and food....

What about making this into a 'sticky' for next season? I know there are other Wire fans in the North East, and I've got no objection to sharing petrol costs etc, it makes good sense. I could double the number of games I can afford to attend.

Sounds a good idea. It'd be much more cost effective to share transport to matches and would enable people to go more often too

i quite often go home game on my own but never fancied going away games unless ive had a mate or sum1 go with *very rare* so i could possibly be up for something like this?
