His it just me that thinks we have gone backwards under noble we are poor in defence and even worse it attack our centres and wingers are lucky to touch the ball mcgoldrick a waste a time in the halfs I would of like to see Gaskell swap over with mcgoldrick in the second halfs today to see how that went we don't seem to have a plan b

nope, I just think we have played two good sides who have exploited our all too obviously weaknesses.

I thought Nobby's interview on Radio Manchester this afternoon was spot on.

You can't judge Noble on two games, to be fair with who he has at his disposal we can't judge him until next season.



Would like to see him instill a bit of pride in the shirt and try to tighten up the defence, think we won't be as productive going forward without Long on the books as he was without doubt the architect of the excellent attacking skills we've seen at times over the passed few seasons.

Could be right maybe I should of waited to see how we go on Friday against the bulls because Easter Monday we was unlucky not to beat them if Bradford do batter us then we have gone backwards

Think there will be movement on either bringing people in for this season or starting to announce next years recruits over the next couple of weeks from what I've heard, maybe a couple of choice additions this season might make all the difference.

I've been told to expect a couple for this season but not imminently.

I think we need to get things in perspective, Longy obviously had a great deal of influence over our attacking plays. But in reality he had Patten, Smith, Holdsworth in key positions to our attacking strategy, we do not have that quality at our disposal this year. Give the man time, not just a couple of weeks, but a couple of months. I don't expect any major signings this year, if we do it will be a bonus.

Far too early to judge Noble. He's going to need time, financial backing and patience and support from the fans before we see real sustainable progress. There's no quick fix solution it's going to take a lot of hard work, organisation and wise investment in new players .

As my good friend Michigan Red has inexplicably blocked me would one of you good people tell him that his "excellent attacking skills we've seen at times over the passed few seasons" would sound so much better if he had used "past" instead.

I must admit that our performance yesterday was very very poor, but I don't think people should be making knee-jerk reactions after two games in charge.

On a positive note I thought our fans were great... quite a lot of us and very vocal!
