You have to wonder why a company like Leeds Rugby or whatever aren't centrally storing all this information. Had the laptop hard drive died, or a memory stick formatted, at quite possible you would have lost all this information anyway.



To not have backups and central storage is ridiculous.

The only copy of incriminating evidence to be used to blackmail John Ross was kept in Bobby's safe on a two dime memory stick, which he then accidentally wiped clean after unwittingly importaing a virus by opening an E-mail of a dog (or was it a tattooed squirrel) that JR had sent him.



Possibly the most ridiculously weak plot line since Bobby emerged after spending a year in the shower but shows how these things are easily done.

What baffled me was why the hell he kept it in his car overnight. You're just asking for trouble.

The thieves broke into Hunwicks home during the night, stole the keys to his car and a Leeds Rhinos rucksack containing a laptop and GPS equipment used to monitor the players fitness.



...sounds like the laptop was stolen from the house when they took they keys.

All Data should be on Central Network Storage and VPN should be used to access it remotely.

Ay, you wouldn't believe it but some people don't even read reports properly

I blame my sky sports app on my phone on it just says it was stolen from his car!!!!

As I understand it the data would generally be backed up/stored centrally but it was stolen the night after coming back from Catalans so they hadn't had chance to get in to store/back it up.



Incidentally, I firmly believe its the money spent by the club on top quality backroom staff like Jason Davidson and Richard Hunwicks that helps keep us at the top.
