It was Sinfield all the way. Worked out a game plan and got everyone rallied and sticking to it straight after half time. That drop goal was vital in getting us through the sticky patches of the second half and his try saving tackle was spectacular.

Errrm....yes, he was

It was that try saving tackle that got him man of the match and fully deserved because it was a game saver. However there’s no doubt that Danny McGuire and JP were the better performers for Leeds throughout the game. But Sinfield deserves the recognition as much as these two.

Sinfield was superb imo. Kicked Leeds back into the game from 8 down and then controlled the 2nd half.



Was asked if I rated him as a player and my response was 'yes he's a quality player, but he's not as good as people say. He is a superb captain though' and that showed tonight I thought.

Always difficult to single people out, but if anyone deserved it, Sinfield did. He's a superb player and captain and a great example of how to behave as a professional sportsman.

He'll have his own stand in years to come!
