That's superb. I was born just before John Holmes stopped playing so I never got to watch him. Pieces like this really help to give me a sense of what watching him play must have been like, so many thanks.

| I was too young to see him play and mores the pity, i was weaned on stories of his triumphs and battles and like many people have said he truly was a giant in the whole of the RL family. Fantastic article too.
