They had footage of GB celebrating so they must have images that they will put on the screen

A little disconcerting in terms of what footage they do have that all they chose to show was that celebration rather than anything of him in action.

'Simply the best' came on the radio at work today, It always takes me back to RL in the 80's, made me think it would be fitting if it could be squeezed in, maybe before or as the players & ex players take the field with a photo or video of John on the big screen.

I was rather drunk at that game, early morning start on the train from Leeds and all that, I don't think I've actually seen the game at all despite being in the stadium at the time.

Sorry, it is a Wigan song for me all the way this one. It became their anthem throughout their record breaking CC run. My memories of the song are losing to Wigan... on many CC occasions.
