Does anyone remember reading this article from the Ponte & Cas? We have just stepped into May and it seems very quiet on the ground sale front.



A brief quote from the article... '“This is always a complicated process and we had hoped to have concluded a deal by now, but we remain confident that this will be finalised in April and we can then more openly communicate our development plans." Suggests that there should be some news coming our way!!

well that was absolute sh**e what he said and what he has always said, he needs to get out of this club before he takes us down. If he takes us down I'm sure he'll never see daylight again with the amount of cas fans that want his blood

I'm not disagreeing with either comment, but lets give him a few more days yet (not for the first time) and see if he makes any sort of announcement ready for the Widnes game.

These were named ( we have been asked to keep that part confidential) They also said that a decision from one of the Supermarkets is expected anytime, but when exactly this happens is out of their control."

Things are still outside of the control of the club and they are just as frustrated as fans. But the situation is in the supermarket's court and obviously their need isn't as pressing as ours.

Plus what is quite amusing is that people are STILL criticising RW even though the person quoted in the article is Andrew Duncan from Opus.



People need to understand: THIS IS NOT CAS IN CONTROL, it is Opus. Opus are the ones putting the money in and controlling the project.

How is WR coping with all this rain? As its been the wettest April on record I would have thought any danger of flooding would have been evident - if not then the doubts about the 'flood risk' must have been alleviated for prospective purchasers?

When I went down other week it was fine.

Went past on thursday last week....not a puddle anywhere.

The 1 in 100 year flood risk zone has been recently re-assessed and the WR site is no longer included.
