As a proffesional RL club surely we can arrange and plan a training programme that actually takes place on time, as planned?!

I thought that the whole point of the link-up with Calderdale College was to put an end to the training venue problem.



I don't understand why they can't have one session a week at The Shay. I know it's a sore point with the football crowd but they do play twice as many games there as we do.



Failing that, I can't understand it being so diifficult to rent a pitch to train on. Weren't they using Hipperholme and Lightcliffes facilities at one point?

Speaks volumes. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail and all that ... how can the club allow this to happen?

I'm sure they are using Heath because of the floodlights, hence not being able to use the Moor(which they would/should have to pay for anyway, as do all the other teams that use it).

Still you'd think they had a phone number for one of the Heath chappies.

You say it's amateur - well, maybe. You say Halifax RLFC is a professional club? No it isn't. At best we are a semi-pro club. We're not in Super League anymore and do you know what? - s[ihi[/it happens!!



I fully expect us to turn up wearing the same kit as our opponents anytime soon . . . . . . . . .

Yes, the 3G court at college is outdoor & floodlit and from the players I've spoken to they don't dislike the court surface at all. I would imagin that it's pre-booked though as is usual so maybe the facility is unavailable at the desired time on a weds.

I still don't get why it's poor organisation? They had organised a training session at Heath. Someone from Heath didn't turn up to open up. Where's the foul by the club? If I organise a taxi to take me out on the town and that taxi doesn't turn up then it aint my fault.

if that same taxi was taking you to work the next day and it didnt show up, again resulting in you been late, would you be disiplined by work? probably.



therefore indirectly it would be your fault through lack of proper planning and organisation, expecting and arranging for the worse... plan B.

Halifax shouldnt arrange training at sites where this could happen. simples.
