Looks like our lovely council has done a U-turn again!

it still doesn't say if the ground has to be emptied between the games. let's hope they see sense

lot better times though.

Not for the Widnes game it aint, No traveling support at that time i am pretty sure and all the Siddal fans full of ale by the time Fax kick off.



To be fair the council are in a no win situation. They should have got it right first time and stuck to that decision instead of looking like a bunch of muppets that cannot even organise 4 teams playing in the same stadia on the same day.

I actually do hope the Widnes fans do make it - the hard core Vikings are not a bad bunch.

I also hope they make it in numbers, Great rugby people and although i like to wind em up kike they do us i think the banter is good and there is no ill intention there. Just can't see it with the K.O being before lunch time.

Anyone who attends the Siddal game should be offered maybe a half price ticket for the Fax game on the turnstile if the ground is to be emptied. Wasn't last years round 3 games only £10 entry? If so, then give any fan on request a £5 fax ticket or concession equivalent.



Early start for the Siddal game. Out of the ground for 1.15pm. Ground to re-open 1.45pm I expect. EMC could actually open the outside East Stand bar for anyone that wants to stay around the ground till the gates open again, or theres 2 pubs open near the ground, the 3 Pidgeons or the Pump Room nearby to enjoy a pint or 2 in between games. The Shay Hotel has closed down.



So whether the games are separate or a double header, the club can organise things better now for the fans with minimum inconvenience for those who wish to watch both.

Still too early at 11:30 for me, kids footy stuff in the morning, and I don't think I'll be alone in that.

Shame, really wanted to watch Siddal match more than Fax to be honest.

The ground does not need to be emptied between the games - it is a "proper" double header. Entry prices are £12 for adults, £6 for concessions and £1 for juniors. The admission price entitles you to watch both of the games. Entry is free of charge to Widnes and Halifax season ticket holders upon production of the relevant pass or voucher. The East and South stands will be open. We are hoping to put on some form of entertainment for the hour or so in between the games and will let you all know when we have further details.

Will there be any pass-outs available? Its a long time between games, especially if the temperature drops
