martyb - I don't know how much disposable income you have but Air France fly from London City to Perpignan via Paris Orly.
London City is quite easy to get to via rail and Docklands Light Railway

Still got flights available from Stanstead yet Andrew. It's not so much getting there, it's the fact I'll be on my own which is worrying me. I don't mind the travelling, but being on my own in a foreign country. Funny thing is I've been to Perpignan before but I was on the Wigan organised tour for the first ever match there and being among others gave me extra confidence. After all, it's not like just going to Leeds....... or even Wrexham.

Go via Girona and arrange with Catalan Tours to collect you, that way you will have assistance from the airport to Perpignan and then to the ground as well, hope everything works out mate!

Just been on to Catalan Tours and the chap said I'd be better just catching the shuttle service in to town. It wouldn't be viable for them to just pick me up, which is understansable. Sod it. Think I'll just book and take my chances. The Stanstead to Perpignan flight would be the most direct. It'll be like the first time I went. Travelling all night to get an early flight. See you all over there. |

Where's that from Liam? And how easy is it to get to Perpignan. It's gonna cost me £55 in coach fares to Stanstead and back and I'll have to travel all night to get there. |

6am flight from Manchester on Saturday morning. About an hour away from Perpignan but there are several companies that do transfers, I believe. |
