bury my head in the sand ??? no i just have a grasp on what needs to be done but i also have faith that the people on board have the correct skills to achieve this..

as opposed to panicing and swinging the axe about because of a bit of bad form.

dont get me wrong last nights defeat was not acceptable at all,but i hardly think the players/staff will be patting each other on the backs and saying unlucky or it's not our fault do you???



we have this nearly every season with fans getting on players/coaches backs and imo its just not right after a few games into the season,

if you dont like whats going on dont go simple as that isnt it .

ive been going for the past 20 odd years and ive seen some dire stuff on and off the field but ill still be there the next week given my support for the club.

No doubting it wasn't a great performance from you last night. We played the best I've seen us for maybe 2-3 years to be honest and i include some good victories over Saints in that as well. If theres any doubting how good some of our play was last night then the 1st try of the game can bee seen on our website now. www.reds.co.uk. It's a belter! I think as some have mentioned that it was patantly obvious that you were missing a leader out there, there seemed to be very little direction in your play. As i've said though that's the best I've seen from a Salford team in a good while and was even more satisfying considering the players missing and the kids who stepped up for their debut's. Best of luck for the rest of the season, spoke with some very gratious KR fans after the game who were a cedit to your club - i've no doubt we'll be on the wrong end of a spanking at your place!!

That is simply put terrible defending, the original break is superb but once Pattern got it and came inside the move should easily have been snuffed out. What Liam Watts is doing I have absolutely no idea

I'm guessing he couldn't hear the defensive call over the deafening Rovers support

Is all some of your KR fans do is moan about other clubs and constantly think your the best fans? Its quite ironic how you say that because 3-4 years ago we had some of the best supporters in the league, every club says we always use to make a top atmosphere.

HAD been the operative word and I was impressed from the shed at the willows and it certainly isn't the worst ground in super league but your fan base is pretty low.

We did use to be top but the past few years we've been flat as hell, no atmospehere at all but this season its starting to come back, and yeah I know our fan base is low but if we can string a few wins together our crowds should started rising. If not, I see us moving in to the new stadium not even filling half of it.

I think at the minute u have a great team and like I said that fans that were there created a great atmosphere and u certainly lifted Ur team, rovers do take a lot away but to be honest if we carry on Way we played fri night at urs our fans will drop of going, I hope Salford do well this season as you play some good open fast rugby, good luck for rest of the season

i walked around the ground at the end and spent the last couple of minutes by the tunnel gate in the shed, the noise created underneath that roof was nothing short of fantastic from the salford fans, there were of course a few chavs at the front who thought multi fingered salutes at the exiting rovers players was the best way of celebrating there victory but that was certainley the minority

if indeed salford have a 'potential support' like we hope we ourselves have waiting for the ground developments, then maybe theyll once again be some of the best and loudest fans in the league

Cheers, it just seems when McRae is in charge the team is scared to tackle and scared to throw the ball around, and as much stick at Simms gets, whenever hes been in charge hes done a decent job.
