| Quote SirStan="SirStan"Thanks for the memories Chris, with particular reference to the 1st of August 2015. However, it all went downhill from therein. This has been a shocking couple of months and from extended Christmas breaks via community service instead of training camps, we were (are) totally unprepared for the standard of Rugby needed to compete. Forget the injuries, the squad on Sunday were unmotivated and devoid of any game plan.
Poching ( or is it Poaching?) should have his desk cleared by 10 o'clock on Friday to make way for the future. After my outstanding team for Warrington, my cv will be hitting Jamie's inbox tomorrow. Just keep Rowley away please, I will appoint my own back room.'"
I would also like to thank Chester for the memories....two record derby defeats and another humiliation that escapes me....

| Quote Oafy="Oafy"How would that work for hull fc though? He is the coach of the joint academy that wouldn't go down well IMO'"
Why? I'm sure a replacement will be found. Paul Cooke to coach the academy?

| Apparently Wayne Bennett wants to coach in super league in 2017 in the run up to the World Cup as England coach. Hull kr are trying to get Wayne Bennett signed up as coach for 2017, Willie Poaching will take charge for 2016 if this happens.

| Well it had to happen, now we need some experience at the helm. My pick would be Geoff Toovey, he's out of work at the mo having been treated disgracefully by Manly, he must be itching to get back into the game. Failing that I would go for Kear as he has always had a good impact wherever he has gone.

| Dave K has had some fun today.
Those advocating for James Webster should have seen his car crash of a tenure at Wakefield. Not for me
Didn't rate McNamara but he's got experience of the NRL and if he gets us playing like Waste then I'm for it.
Best of luck to Chester a decent man appointed to a job he couldn't do.
They must have someone lined up. My guess McNamara.

I take no joy or fun from this, I was enjoying Chester's time in charge and am disappointed he has gone.
I think you need to be realistic, money will be tight after sacking and paying off Chester (Did he have nearly two years left on his contract?) and do you expect McNamara to leave his job in the NRL to come and coach Rovers, I certainly wouldn't.
Think you will only get a coach who is unemployed like Cummins, Toovey or Rowley etc.

| Maurice Bamford.
Has a great 'tache and we don't have enough of those, just scraggy beards.
Look at the great sides of the eighties, great 'tache's all over the place.
