The over all standard of sl drops every season with the quota.

Disagree completely, the quality of our squad, Bradfords' squad, and Warringtons' squad have all improved dramatically, you could also say that Huddersfield/Leeds have better squads this year too.

I dont think that has had such a big effect on it yet.

The quality of SL has dropped ever since rovers came into it. Just a coincidence mind.

so why is the standard down then?

Do you think the standard of our team is down from last year? Or Bradfords/Wigan/Warringtons? Do you think the standard of Leeds'/Huddersfields' squad is down from last year?

I think the average standard has stayed about the same. More teams have been pulled into the mid-ranking category, from both ends of the spectrum, making it less predictable.
