One really annoying fact is that the reason we've had a rubbish season is because our back line hasn't been up to it even though the forwards and play makers have played well (apart from Keating).



Now we improve our backs just in time for the main play makers to disappear.

He's the best half back in Hull now he seems to have got his head sorted. The fact that teams like Saints and Wigan have been interested in him proves he's quality.

His current standing in the Albert Goldthorpe would suggest he's the form half in the competition. All the more painful to watch his departure unfold.

I can't say I've ever really noticed him when I've seen Rovers play, granted that's just been when they've been on sky or playing Hull. How does he compare to Green, or even Dobson. Will you miss him as much as those two?

This season he's better than Blake Green was in 2011 (which was good). It's hard to compare him to Dobson. He's not as creative, but then he doesn't miss 5 tackles a game either. What he has over both of them is a will to win, a real competitor.

You must be the only one not to notice him then. As Dobson is a 7 and Burns a 6 they don't compare. I believe he is a better overall player than Green, who he replaced. Dobson was the greater miss as his replacement has not lived up to expectations. If Travis leaves how can we say how big a miss he will be until we see his replacement?
