Saints will also be better, frighteningly, when they get players back. Happily we won't have to play them! Well, barring an unlikely match up in the play-offs. Saints also have an established and successful youth system - we don't yet.
Painful as watching that was, you have to admire that youthful Saints team. Something to aspire to, if nought else. |

The team is not the best and he is having to deal with a board who have slammed the brakes on spending in order to stop the club going bust.
When he was given full cap to spend he got 4th. He is having it trimmed all of the time and is still running at 60% win ratio which is what he told me he was targeting this year with a squad containing so many young English kids.
The points against figure is alarming but ffs you lot do get over excited about stuff.
Leeds have been promoted in fairyball you know, you could always go back to watching them? |

They are sublime when they get on a roll like that. How the game should be played undoubtedly. I hope they go on to win the title - as you say they bring shedloads of talent through and these young players aren't treated with kid gloves but given the confidence to step up by the senior players fronting up. Outstanding. |

Fitzhenry seems to be going OK in the NRL judging by todays game.
Clinton is going OK, Walker is injured otherwise a good player. Webster is very good & is badly missed. Ratu & Cook are what you expect for what we can pay, it would be nice to have all internationals but with our crowds & with cash tight we are lucky to have what we have got a not very palatable fact but we are stuck with it. I will still go & watch as they are my team. |
