| Quote another fine mess="another fine mess"i heard things as well but im hoping its poop not saying anymore... =#FF0000edit, MR.
=#FF0000Okay, the difficulty we have now is with something becoming common (rumoured) knowledge, without being public knowledge. As a suggestion, if people could say they're not saying anything in a way that doesn't hint pretty strongly at what they're not saying, it'd be good. Cheers, MR.'"
I apologise m.r I wasnt in no way hinting but I can see how that looks in regard to e.t then no comment. Getting back on topic I haven't been so excited about new season like I am right now im feeling very positive about new season.

No need to apologise afm, I didn't mean it to sound harsh.

Yeah, the tone of the interview was reasonably optimistic and the club hierarchy and the fans seem to be on the same page, broadly speaking.

| So it looks as if Tui's off then? Disappointing. We gambled a bit with only 3 experienced front rowers this season & we're losing all of them. Plus Beaumont. 4 props left last season as well, not much continuity going on. Gives us a quota place I suppose?

O'Hara & Beaumont aren't massive losses though really are they. We still have IMO one of the best performing props of last season signed with an extended deal in Adam Walker whilst James Green will be involved alot more this season, Throw in Weyman and add that Costigan aint shy at packing down in the front row I'd say we are looking very good.

Beaumont we can cover, O'Hara would've been a loss if he'd actually played. Don't see Costigan playing prop. We're still short of numbers & experience up front imo. Might look different once the new signings are announced.

Weyman, Langley, Walker J, Walker A, Green.
Costigan, Cox, Horne.
Hookers so far.
Carlisle, Hodgeson.
I would say it is more pressing to get some SR's in being honest.

You've missed out Lovegrove.
I thought Langley played more in the 2nd row/loose at the Bulls?
I reckon based on Roopy's comments Costigan will play 13 and switch to 9 at times.
Nevertheless, the pack does look shy on personnel and experienced depth although there are the fringe players to consider; Ollett, Esslemont & Robinson.
Lets hope NH has a couple of forwards signed up and one of them I am hearing is a PNG whose first name is Enoch (cue the Goose).

The Vipers went on to win the Digicel Cup and Maki is in the PNG squad for the world cup.

I thought Costigan to would play at 13, till we signed Langley. Second row now looks like Costigans role.

I reckon so, he has dreadlocks according to Makali Azue, although all Maka said was that e-noch (its a small 'e' ie not pronounced EE) is probably only a step away from SL both in fitness and skill levels - not that he had heard he was signing for Rovers, I heard one of Rovers sponsors mention the name last week.
We'll have to wait and see, come the WC we will be waxing lyrical about every single non-fed trained WC player as a possibility. I guess this starts the ball rolling.
