Quite agree, although I'm not sure the likes of Mariano and Tommy Lee would've been given the same opportunities at your club if your finances hadn't been so precarious.



What it does do though is provide more evidence to suggest that if you give these lads a chance, if they've got the ability and the desire, they'll take it.

I really don't think Frankie was given the chance he deserved at Rovers, he only played 1 first team game last season and he showed up well. I think this is one decision that will come back to haunt us.



I hope the likes of of Scott Taylor are given their chances, these lads need game time.

Incorrect Ellis was here in Morgan's first year he was in the 17 at Blackpool against Leigh and didnt get on the pitch that day.

He alongside Barker and Garmston were apparently told on the morning of the GF they were not being kept on look at Barkers face as he get his medal for his views on it.

They got told the day of the open top bus parade mate

Look at Barkers face on the SKY footage that isn't the picture of a player happy about winning a GF and looking forward to SL.

Dwayne Barker deffo knew before the game because he gave a speech in the dressing room at half-time telling the rest of the players it was his last half of rugby for Rovers.

Not sure about Ellis and Garmston but if i recall correctly James told Rovers to stuff it because they wanted him to sign a contract but go out on loan for a year. He told them that if he left then he left for good.

They were told, there was an article in the paper with Dwayne and he even stated as much. Plus Dwayne wasn't even on the bus and certainly didn't appear at city hall on the balcony
