No, he was at top four team St.Helens....and he couldn't even make the dream team with them

Have we not already beaten Saints several times?

Long has nothing to prove,he is class,whether you like it,or not.

I don't think anyone disputes that but he's not in his prime and the question is which is the better scrum half now. Dobson outperformed him last season and I don't see why he can't do it again.

Cos Long will be behind one of the most formiddable packs in SL and Dobson .......

You're quite correct, not keen on him playing for your lot as I think it's a master stroke for you, as is well documented you've missed someone to push you around the park for a long, long time.



Rovers fans would do well to remember Long showing his class in more ways than one in the 2005 CC semi final, at about 40-nil down a section of the Rovers crowd were singing an ironic "can we play you every week" chant, Long looked up to the Lawrence Batley (as it was then) stand, gave us a wink and applauded us. He gets this game, it's culture, meaning and resonance to the fans.
