So, we don't bring a player back who we have released, who is no better do we.

Mariano is younger than a certain player you were talking about, He is homegrown, He is english, He wipes the floor with that same players stats errors, penalties and missed tackles aside (You get this with younger players).

So I can think of 1 player he is massively better than and this is playing for the side that have been seriously struggling and early in the year who were constantly getting the snot kicked out of it on and off the field.

Mariano is twice the player Netherton is IMHO

Mariano has really shone for Waki I'd give him another go

You should never have released him.



Is it true (and I am not trolling etc) that Netherton is a bit of a golden child and can do no wrong? He plays no matter what? My mates opinion as a rovers fan. I have no idea so thought I would ask

Should Wheeldon replace him? Genuninely I wouldn't know enough to compare, I can only go on what i am told by friends

No we shouldn't have released him and nethers ant really done nowt wrong but I think we have better players in the team who we can play ie wheeldon, although ain't he injured, sometimes it appears if Ur face fits one week and not another am sure that's not the case but I thought that was the whole idea of having a bigger squad was to rotate it, I would def give cook another contract tho.

All Mariano needed was an opportunity, he has that at Wakey and he has been superb in the games i have seen. I would definitely try and get him back to Rovers if Wakey lose their SL status.

netherton is poop, never rated him but i suppose he helps fulfil the requirements for homegrown etc and will be pretty cheap i would imagine, decent tackler but we have better players than him who seem to be lower in the pecking order imo

I agree totally about Nethers, i dont rate him too much - defence seems decent, attacking is garbage. Yet every single player would name him in the side and they love playing with him, surely he must do something none of us see if that is the case?
