Don't blame Dobson. Everyone knows he is going to get the ball and can therefore set their defence to neutralise him. Its the support cast that is the problem. If IAnson and Murrell were any attacking threat at all they would create uncertainty in the opposition defence and give Dobson more options. As it is they can be safely ignored as the non threats they are leaving Dobson to do it on his own. What a great move to get rid of Crook without having any options as a replacement.

Rovers knew he has a short fuse,and took cheap shots at him,no wonder he lost it,an elbow in the chops tends to do that.

That jerk in the middle had it in for him as he stepped on the pitch.

I just cannot believe that you put up one bomb only. I was bricking over Dobson's kicking, but it never happened. Strange!

No cross field kicks really either. Was very surprised as thats how we've conceded most of our tries this year.

Thought Hull defended the short grubber kicks really well yesterday. On most occasions a Hull player was first to the ball on the back of reading the play and this is one area where we have struggled with recently IMO.

Any kind of decent additional half back would have won us the game. We had so much possesion in the second half and did nothing with it. Too much on Dobbo's shoulders IMO. Credit where it's due; FC'S goal line defence was excellent.

Was the best ive seen us defend the grubber this year. We seemed to want to block the kick at all costs and react quickly to the loose ball. Normally we dont stick a leg out or anything.
