As much as I enjoy a bit of ribbing about overseas players and the like, even I have to say that given you've had the dirty french and the cottage burners for you tahe attracted 2,500 more fans to those games is outstanding

I was...and will be again I am sure, but whilst the whole overseas player thing drags on...I won't let any club get beaten up by anyone (even their own fans) over an INCREASE in fans.

PHIPPS knew what he was doing when he started this thread.....it doesn't take much to attract posters from the darkside of Hull over here for a percieved feeding frenzy.

But last year your attendance against Crusaders was 800 down on the previous year thus giving more room for improvement.

Do your 2 previous home games against Leeds then come back. Actually let's compare your massive crowd with your far superiour team come Friday against another locslish club!!!

Ps before you do a smilie face thing you have not hit a nerve you just keep avoiding the fact that your gates are 18% down and ours are 10% up.

And yes it still may be less than yours but it's still 10% more than last year.

HKA have had an extra 37.500 quid on the door so far whilst FC have had 75,000 quid less......

..that's an income drop of nearly 500k for FC and an increase of nearly 250k for the Anzacs

I know of several non-season ticket holders who will only come if East Stand tickets are available and whilst I wouldn't expect to see an immediate increase of 1k+ when the East Stand extention is completed I'd certainly say this increase would be made up easily over time. Also with the North Stand being completed 10K would be easily achievable IMO.



The reality is that people don't want to go in the North or South stand - the East stand extention needs sorting out asap.
