Who says they haven't paid a fee or offered compensation. The press release previously from Rovers only stated that they had agreed to let him talk to clubs. They didn't mention under what terms though. |

The official report you havefrom the Rovers website is.

Key word I think is "Discussions" Watts has over a year on his deal and is an England knights player. To leave on a free would be pretty bad form from Rovers. |

Not being funny. But what they release is hardly nowt to go by. They tell you the bare minimum most of the time. The way I see it, is that I'd like to see clarity on this move. And how the hell have Fc fudged his wages onto the salery cap??

No we weren't, Pitts signed at the end of March McKinnon left start of May.
If HKR don't want Watts at the club whats the point of having sat on his collecting a wage? |

The point is that Rovers invested alot of time, money, energy and kid gloves on this guy. Money they'll never get back, and the thought that Fc get him for free just rankles with me. Bad business sence by rovers if this is true. Mayby Mike Smith was in charge of it all, then that kinda figures!

Can't see it. It's bad business in my eyes. After all the guy has potential. Wether he's a trouble causer or not. I can understand that him leaving is part of a bigger picture in Rovers recruitment. But to hand him on a plate to our neighbours for nothing is just stupid!!

Look what happened with us and Carvell, sure we made 50k out of it but we lost out on a quality replacement. |
