The impression have always had of Sandercock is that he knows what he's doing and is building the playing side of the club from the ground up. That takes time. If he's still with Rovers in 5 years the club will be unrecognisable even from where we are today. That's how long I would give him. 5 years from now, give him stability and I believe that he will deliver consistent improvement in all aspects of the playing side of Hull KR.

I read an article yesterday about Flanagan signing on as coaching director of Salford for 3 months while he serves out his suspension in Australia. They interviewed disgraced sports scientist Stephen Dank and he said he looked forward to when Salford played 'his side HKR' - the article went on to say Dank is working with HKR.

I suppose Dank would have worked with Sandercock at Manly in the notorious cow's blood era.

I'm not sure what to make of that. Dank is obviously on the cutting edge of sports suppliments, and he claims everything he did at Cronulla and Essondon was legal at the time.
