The Sun article states Shaun as being aged 22 and then goes on to say he’s in his ninth season playing for the Dons—so one of those facts is obviously untrue---let’s hope some of the other facts within that article are also found to be untrue.

Says Shaun has been suspended due to reports in todays sun.

Why are the club not being suspended for playing a thirteen year old in the first time.

.. lol I dont think so.. Something stinks about the whole story!!

I can to be honest. Two immediate reasons spring to mind;



1) The aforementioned pair were effectively cited for one incident relating to one game. If the report is correct (and I know that's not a given) Leaf has admitted to more than one occasion and the report attempts to infer he may have been involved in match-fixing.



2) Even if this was just a like-for-like situation with the Long / Gleeson case the RFL may well take the view that the 3 or 4 months bans previously handed out have not prevented a repeat and perhaps harsher punishment (this time) may.

I think theres somthing fishy about this story I think the lads bin stitched up ok he shouldnt be betting against a club hes involved with but I think theres more to it!

Doncaster player bets on his team losing and it makes the national papers, i think that there is a lot more to this than has been released as yet.



Would not be surprised if the so called journalist gave Shaun the money to put on.

Not read the report yet, but am I right he took the handicap of +38 for Wakefield.....

Though it does give Shaun's date of birth as 27th February 1989 on the clubs official website
