I think if wants to do well in the game, i feel secondrow will be his best postion. He has the height and tackles well which i feel are his strong points.I think Tom Kelly,Allen,Varkulis,Haggerty, and Kavanagh can play secondrow, so he needs to play a step above these players.I hope Grady can improve and wish him luck. Maybe abit more pie eating, and beefing up he could be a good one.

| I would have Kavanagh as second row on a permanent basis next year, he's always better when he starts and plays a full game.

| Agree VM. I think the easiest way for us to succeed in SL (if we're there) is with a real mean pack. By moulding Kavanagh into a permanent back-rower, we can achieve this!
I'd take Kav, Allen, Gerrard and Heckenberg from our current forwards to SL if we do so happen to reach it.

I agree more effective and his best postion is not prop.He plays well at loose forward aswell.

| Can't believe people on here think he's quick!!!!!
He's gone well for you guys in the past, and he's come up with some special play for us this season. However, it's been well documented that he lacks the bottle for any sort of collision, he's not quick enough for the wing either and makes his fair share of howlers. Attacking wise he would be more productive in the centres and a decent coach could get much more out of him than McRae.

| Tyrer isnt a winger, not sure why Mcrae was playing him there but he's much more at home in the centre position, and he's quick enough for the championship.

| Wasnt that Crookes or Crooke, the young lad from Bradford that scored against Salford? Tyrer got 2 tries but they were close range.

The one where he tappped the ball into his hand was from fairly far out. IIRC.

And his second he clearly learnt off Gidley, low body position and great finish... Tbh his year sat in Celtics reserves was terrible for him as at least at Saints he was learning off Gidley & co.
