I think we should be thanking our lucky stars that Barrow's indiscipline was their undoing tbh...



Rubbish first half, much improved 2nd half where we seemed to dominate territory and possession for long periods. We just seemed to lack ideas close to the line and played too much panic rugby. Credit where it is due though, they got stuck in and took full advantage when it mattered, though my heart nearly burst at the end and I managed to fall back into the seats when Ainscough went in for the winner.



As for your question Mick, Barrow robbed themselves. They were well in control and we had no answer to their defence near the line. You can't give so many daft penalties away against the top sides (we were as guilty of that too).

Barrow were not robbed, Widnes had numerous chances to score but couldnt score in a brothel at times. We finished the stronger and won the game.

Didn't like the way Kav got a straight red for using the elbow when earlier on in the game all a barrow player got was penalised for a similar offense. Great finish to the game and i believe both team were heavily penalised through out the game.

Im serious, they were gathered in the corner if the north stand.

Thanks for the civil reply, yes it sounded like we robbed ourselves in the end , but i suppose if you wernt attacking us intensely we wouldnt have conseeded as many pens, good work out by both sides by the sounds of it.
