Very good signing, i have been impressed with Dave since his return, always had bags of talent but had a few problems in his life. A good second rower and someone we needed.

Great signing IMO, as soon as it was clear he wanted to return to rugby, IMO we should have took him back.



Thats the thing when you try to set an example and sack a player or don't re-sign them - it sounds good taking the higher moral ground but all you are doing is letting another team sign them. It was the same for Penkywicz and Hudson. Obviously the player suffers because they can't play for 2 years, but the club also lose out by not having that player. Another club can come along, sign them up and claim they are doing the right thing and will help them etc.

I'd like to see him in the back row with Doran, and Gerrard at loose forward. I think that's what PC has in mind anyway. Obviously it depends on how well Gerrard does at loose. If he can't cut it there, then I'd stick DA there and use Doran and Varks in the back row. So we now have several options in the pack.



We just need some quality backs now. Preferably ones that can kick well too.

The backs are going to be crackers, as soon as we get them 4 in on paper the squad will look excellent.

Barrows fans not happy - Would appear that they announced he was one of the players that they had re-signed at their presentation night.

Reading that thread it seems to link Liam Harrison strongly with Leigh?



Announcing someone as signed even though they havent signed a contract is always silly. Leigh have done it plenty of times and ended up with egg on faces.
