If it was a weight issue with O'Meley why would Gentle say he was injured if he wouldn't play for us again anyway, when with Jamie Ellis it was known from fairly early on that it was weight issues with him?
Also, is a slightly overweight O'Meley a better option than a retired Radford?
And, didn't O'Meley go off injured anyway?
After doing a bit of a search, it seems O'Meley was looking forward to the Widnes game on the Tuesday (which he turned out to banned for): www.thisishullandeastriding.co.u ... story.html
And in the subsequent 10 days Gentle has decided to send him for a scan on his ankle, but is still hopefully he'll play, knowing full well in that 2 weeks he's put too much weight on, keeping him out for 6 weeks: www.thisishullandeastriding.co.u ... story.html
