Everyone's quick to say we should be signing world class players and coaches but the simple truth is, those fans are living in some frigged up Utopia where every NRL player and Dream Teamer wants to come here and there's a queue stretching down Walton Street.
There isn't. We're not massive - except in some people's heads.
We sign players like Paea because our coaching staff believe they will add something. The same way as we hoped Moa would add something. The same way we hoped Whiting would add something.

Proven -meaning has experience of being a Head Coach (not won trophies, but has proven success of gelling a group of players into a team ).
For example, Nathan Brown & Tony Smith, were both enticed away from their employment (Smith twice) - we never entice a coach away from another club.
There are a few previous Head Coaches in Australia, for example Morgan,Taylor,Smith,Anderson,Folkes.
But, we always appoint the next in line, at the club.
Personally,I would get a Head Coach who has
some experience, if this is successful, then appoint from within.
Thats my opinion anyway.
