Ha, true, I did think that when I read it back. Just it doesn't make me feel more positive about the rest of the season or that we've turned a corner

Not sure on the system but if we finish 5th to 8th is that game over .

Only top 4 play off then the bottom 4 have a mini league with top 4 Championship .

If is the case are we getting used to empty our pockets for the extra games?

Going against the grain but hey might as well be positive. IMO if we get sum injured players back and get the half's firing heck we can do it COYH

Top eight play another 7 games before the top 4 playoffs, so passholders won't be "emptying their pockets".

Each division will play two full rounds (22 games) with the top division also playing an extra game at the Etihad for Manchester Magic. The top eight will carry their points into a seven game round robin after which the top four will play Semi finals (1v4, 2v3) to reach the Grand Final at Old Trafford.



Not sure about paying for the round robin games

The 2015 season pass covers the post split games. Wherever we finish, we will have 3 or 4 home games in August/September and these are covered within the season ticket.

I tipped us to finish in the bottom 4, and I certainly don't think anything has changed to alter my predictions. . Weve been awful, and i cant see it improving anytime soon

ok so after today's game we sit on 12 points. we can assume 22 points will pretty much guarantee 8th (and perhaps 20 or 21 might do it). so we are looking at another 5 wins, most likely from the following sources (in order of likeliness)



wakey - home and away. drop any points here and we don't deserve to do it anyway



cas - home. should be more than capable of 2 points here



rovers - either win at newcastle or at their place. newcastle being more likely. both would be nice and is possible



widnes - away. a win on the plastic is an outside bet



saints - home. we have a decent home record against them but i think they will win this time



wigan - home. on current form i would say zilch here



catalan - away. no chance



leeds - away. likewise



so we look like having to win either on widnes home (ahem) turf or poorhouse lane to make it. i can see 4 wins from 9, but 5 is going to be tough. that said if you told me before the season started we would win at hudds, saints and wire i would have thought you insane, so really who knows? if i was to bet on it i would have us falling just short in 9th
