I think he's a more than able replacement and I'd have him in the team ahead of Radford, assuming everyone is fully fit. I don't think last night's showing did anything to sway opinion either way though. What last night showed was that Dowes and Cuasack are easily capable of playing 60 minutes and are no less effective for it. As if that wasn't already known.
Regarding Laukai, I'm not sure what anyone can complain about last night. He made a couple of great runs and was solid on every other occasion. After the Saints game, he was always going to come in for special attention from teams for the rest of the season, and just his presence, drawing in three or four tacklers every time, is of benefit to the team. |

Start playing Cusack and Dowes for 60 minutes and it will show as the season progresses just like it did last season. Radford has been very good this season so far and would be in the team over Moa. Agar has been doing good interchanges for the most part this season, spelling the forwards well (This was put out a bit last night with Moa ) we have seen the benefit of these interchanges this season.
If Dowes/Cusack know they are going to have to put in 60 minutes a game those spells would then become less intense as they know they have to keep energy in the bank, but when they know they are only doing roughly 20 minutes at a time they can put everything into their stint. |

They've both shown, right through their careers, that they are no less effective playing 60+ mins as they are playing 40. Obviously, if we've got the players to mean they don't have to (which we do), that's great. But if they do have to step up, they can. |
