I agree that it seems unusual that Rankin is getting subbed. I wouldn't say that it's obvious that he doesn't rate Miller though. He's getting named in the 19 man squad but there's only two half back spots in the team for Rankin, Horne and Miller so one is obviously going to miss out. I believe Miller can only play in the halves (someone correct me if I'm wrong) so it doesn't make much sense to put him on the bench. Much better to put Heremeia there as he can play in multiple positions.



I also agree that Heremeia should have been on earlier. I suspect that he would have come on in the first half as we've seen in other games if Shaul hadn't been sin-binned. Radder's probably decided that we still needed Houghton's defensive steel. Of course that doesn't explain why he didn't come on when we was back to full strength.

maybe its tactical with rankin being subbed, warrington were visably tiring in the second half, bringing on aaron with 20 odd minutes left with fresh legs would be beneficial to us

Really? Where were the Allams back in 2001 when Hull City were actually in administration? Visiting family back in Egypt? Don't get me wrong. The Allam's are very much responsible for getting City up from the Championship to the Premier League and fair play to them for that. But City wouldn't have been anywhere near the Championship if Pearson hadn't bought them and bankrolled those promotions all those years ago.

Good luck to him if he ends up back at FC, he is a good squad player but will never be first choice in any position really. TBH, our backs are pi$$ poor and I wish we could offload a few more (Welham for definate, he's an FC fan if you want him as well).

A foul breach of trust, after such a public betrayal, Allam would speak to them no more.... hang on, sure I've heard this line before) then did such a volte-face that Pa Allam was pirouetting all the way from the bank to prove Barmby wrong. Disgusting, cheap behaviour to blacken the character of a man who dedicated his all to the club.

Craig Hall is a gifted attacking player whichever position you put him in the back line. Doesnt have the searing pace or strength to make him a truly effective winger however the try he scored against you (cant remember which game) where he plucked a kick out of the air one handed and got it down showed his ability. Lack of pace/strength also limit him as a fullback as his defence is also questionable and has brainfarts just the same as Eden. As a centre he can put his winger away better than welham or salter however centre is such an important defensive position that he gets found out.



I really think his best position is 6, he has a good running game and can create things out of nothing and his kicking game isnt that bad either. If you put him alongside an organising 7 who can lead the team around the park and let craig have a bit of creative freedom to do his stuff, with a consistent run in the team he could be effective. Unfortunately hes not going to get that chance whilst we have tubby gob5hit3 burns as Sanderock loves him. Tough one cos I do think Burns is a good player but similarly needs the same kind of 7 next to him as I described for Hall (..DOBSON) ha as of yet neither are effective for us because Keating isnt performing yet and im not sure he will ever be the organiser we need.



For you lot he would be decent cover for the wing, slightly better cover for centre but as I say a better option at 6.. however you have a lot of options there already so unless Radford can guarantee him a starting place which I doubt, I dont see what he would gain from switching back to you. However if he has had a spat with Sandy he might want the change back to his supposed old pal Radford.



Time will tell but to be honest I dont think either of our teams are what he needs to kick on in his career, but similarly I really dont know what team could give him a starting place as a 6 which is where I think he would be best.
