Fortunatey I don't need to set off for about another hour and a bit, as its only an hour and a half for us, just cleared my drive and been out to check local roads which are already just about ok. I'm 750 feet above sea level and so can't imagine it will be too bad over the M62 pennine route (which from memory is about 1100 feet above) once traffic has used all lanes.



snow was moving south west to north east so should have stopped snowing an M62 now as I'm about 15 miles north and it's stopped here

Sun now out near Liverpool, not had much snow but it's melting already. good luck over the M62 folks!
